This small, independent brewery is situated near one of Glasgow’s many parks. Queen’s Park which covers 148 acres was dedicated to the memory of Mary Queen of Scots, who fought and lost a battle at Langside a district on the edge of the huge park. The brewery also takes its name from the area it is situated in, this time Strathbungo, which was a small village in the 18th century. The brewery started in the spring of 2021 by four friends with a love of beer. They source all their ingredients as close to the brewery as possible and then sell onto local off licence premises and pubs. As well as producing a range of beers they manufacture a whisky barrel barley wine.
